Steve,
Not sure what you mean when you say 'not so on Cisco'?? The performance of Cisco's stock since last fall is as I stated it, no net gain, UNLESS you traded and bought when it crashed in the spring. As for options, don't do them, guess I got cold feet when I was younger and dumber back in the 70's. At that time, I was trading naked calls and puts like there was no tommorrow. Turned out there WAS no tommorrow, and I lost the equivalent of the price of a house in these parts in about two weeks. Almost wiped me out, but taught me a very valuable lesson! MVS is sure still around, by far the most bulletproof OS, IBM stock is the reason I'm doing this full time now. You know it has better than quintupled since it's low of 40 no??? I'm well aware of CPQ's performance, and am sure it will continue to do well, but there will be potholes along the way, that's what I want to avoid! We can use Cisco itself as a prime example!! Did you once run an MVS shop?

John

PS MVS still around?? Come on, you know it runs corporate America!! NT scale to run banking/reservation systems? NT staying up like MVS? It's still a dream at this point!!
