It is CHENEY's comment (her quote), I simply repeated it from the news article.

(But, YES, I agree with her. What scientific research -- i.e., peer-reviewed, of course --- that has been done on this issue, to my knowledge, has universally come up with the same results: What matters *most* is a loving, caring home able to care for children. That is FAR more important then any other measured factor.)

Of course, if you can point to any peer-reviewed statistical studies that disagree with the conclusions... then by all means, share them with us.

Would be interested to see them.
