Health care requires people to be sick. Exactly why would Dell or GM require their customers to be sick.

This is utter nonsense:

I said that Medicare is here TODAY. It could be expanded TOMORROW. It's available, it works acceptably well and would be something that could take care of everyone. Of course it's not perfect but it's fixable. I did not say that critical and immediate requires a non-profit monopoly.

Point out where I said that.

FEMA and Katrina are the result of the gutting of FEMA by a for-profit corporation called the Republican Party. FEMA used to work well under Clinton. It was decimated by Bush. The Bush administration is not the 'government' it's a bunch of greedy thugs using the power of taxation to TAX & STEAL from all of us for their personal profit.

Take a look at Tauzin and the Medicare bill. Where is he today?
