Make an argument for why profit does not work in health care.

If Dell makes computers that fail just after warranty, what do you think HP will do? The same, or produce something better which customers will want and eventually desert Dell for?

You talk about GM & health care. Why not look and GM vs. Toyota car sales. Do you think those buying cars care about GM's health care, and hence avoid buying them in favor of Toyota? Or do you think perhaps it has to do with the products themselves and how they please the customer.

In all you posts, nada about why health care is uniquely suited to non-profit, monopoly systems. Well, not quite nada, there was critical & urgent, which LOL, you later denied!

Please try once again. Why is health care uniquely suited to non-profit monopoly systems?
