Chris, the general media already broke the story awhile back that the IEDs that are killing most of our soldiers are shaped charges that include technology that was traced back to the Iranians. If I remember correctly, it was British intelligence that found that out.

Anyone who thinks Iran is NOT meddling in Iraq has to really be blind and ignorant of Middle East politics. This is a wet dream come true for Iran. It's their day in the sun. Of course, they are meddling in Iraq. They are about to have two Irans.

The first paragraph is your main proof for the claim Iranians are harming American interests in Iraq? Weapons? Almost any arms dealer will sell Iraqis weapons, regardless of the nationality of the dealer, and regardless of the origin of the weapon.

Bush says repeatedly that Iranians are hurting US interests in Iraq. Where is the proof? Saying that the insurgents use weapons which probably were made in Iran is pretty flimsy if that is all there is. For all we know an Egyptian arms dealer bought them in Iran, drove them across the border, and sold them to Iraqi insurgents for a handsome profit.

Does that transaction constitute Iranian meddling in Iraq?
