yes, been thinking how to get to pipes to wrap it. they go out about three feet or so and not room to get in there took most of a couple days to stuff the insulation in the spaces.. then i read insulation does crap without heat. and by putting all the insulation in there i shut the heat from the basement going in there. the overhang has the wind go right under it and freezes the pipes in low temps. i think i got it back to where it will not freeze up again by pulling some of insulation out and open up a hot air duct in half bath in basement. pipes are exposed about a foot from duck for tub, the other two areas are sinks in bath and toilet.

i figure if i wrap even part of pipe with heat tape it will be enough to keep rest of pipe warm enough to prevent freezing.
