The problem with a big public gaffe is that your credibility slips a few notches with undecided voters, and no one knows when you are going to do something equally bizarre in the future.

With 10+ candidates to choose from on each side and more than 20 altogether, why should a voter stick with a character of questionable judgment?

It's an unforgiving process. Biden is a character but I don't think he has the right character to succeed in the nomination race.
