This last piece deserves some special attention.

Clearly Amaranth had no exit strategy in case of a blow up.....expecting systems facilitators to remain partners is a naive assumption at best; that many should pay close attention too.

There are paths to counterprogram failure of this sort, but it appears that no one at Amarath had undertaken such study.

The System has within it, predictable end game metrics, for players such as Amarath tied to these independent facilitators, the outcome was and is entirely predictable . We see in the article how potential is turned to failure. That sometimes being too big is your biggest disadvantage.

Moreover the most glaring deficit of all is that of the solutions sought in the final hours, none stood even a chance.

There are methodologies to counterprogram failures, the only uncertainty about them is will they work at the scale of this particular scenario?
