I don't blame the Mexicans. It is unconscionable to use food stock as feed stock in the energy markets. We should be tapping oil sands, oil shale and real alternatives to crude oil. We have hybrids, electric batteries, hydrogen fuel, and every sort of efficiency the market could invent. It is plain stupid to take food away from people to add fuel efficiency for the overabundance of oil.

Don't get me wrong, just because I don't believe in Peak Oil doesn't mean that new reserves aren't getting more expensive. However, I think we should keep mtbe and other chemicals as additives and terminate this holistic misconception that adding ethanol to our fuel supply is going to help contain energy prices.

As for this global condemnation of liberals blaming humans for global warming, I say blow it out your asses. I think the private sector is doing everything they can to reduce carbon emissions long term. Just had to add that rant.<g>

Have a good weekend!!
