Hi Steve,
Your point on long term investing is well taken, no argument there! Of course I'm looking to trade CPQ some more, maybe even today! I take your comment that CPQ has better 'systems prowess' than IBM with a grain of salt!! We all know that S/390 rules at the very high end, and is making inroads at the lower end as CMOS technology has made these machines much more competitive. I used to work on MVS bugs (18 years) and have firsthand knowledge of how far IBM went for it's MVS customers, they would lease jets to get the right people to an account having problems, but that is another story. Besides, if I just bought CPQ and sat on it for years, what would I do all day long!!! (Don't want to go back to waking up at 3am on Saturday night to fix a customer's MVS problem!!).

John
