I meant it in the Jeffersonian sense, in which, the state does not grant liberties which preexist it. Instead the state recognizes natural rights and exists in order to guarantee those rights. Were a government, or any form of coercive order, to become "destructive of these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it."

Oppose tyrannous groups (insurgencies) in support of greater liberty and justice for all.
