I have never made any such claim, and in fact argued with you years ago that OEM was lower.

I'm not sure if you were trying to post something to support your claim or not, but you sure as hell didn't. As I said, I have always maintained that retail subs are more expensive than OEM.

You never debated him on the issue..

He was wrong. My posts, dating back years, have consistently disagreed with his position. I didn't NEED to debate him.

I kept telling you that Retail CPGA was higher, but you kept on asking why SIRI's CPGA was higher?

LOL.

It wasn't ME arguing that SIRI's CPGA was lower than XM's, it was YOU. You are a goof, dude.

I use management provided estimated average CPGA figures. Whereas, you want me to use your cockamamy David Ray because I say so figures.. LOL!! I'll stick with managments numbers. When they change.. I'll change mine.

If you believe, as I do, that OEM subs are less expensive than retail, then it should be obvious to you that $100 overstates the CPGA for an OEM sub. So, why would someone use an obviously incorrect number? The answer, of course, is that it is necessary to support your "cockamamy" position.

Sirius's original planning called for about 133 repeaters. They are now more than twice that and counting.

I pulled the number from memory, made an honest mistake, and said so at the time. They are adding more, however, while XM has reduced its number to half their original number. My point holds, even though I got the raw figure wrong. That is NOT making up bullshit, which is what you are doing.

If you would like to admit that your $100 figure is over for OEM installs, I will accept it as a "mistake" and not as an attempted distortion at which you were caught. Just let me know.
