No, but actuarial science can predict the cost of entitlements. What we have to do is pay the runrate of our future promises. It can be done, you know. Just like any debt, if you postpone payments, the eventual cost of paying the obligation grows and grows and grows....

As for the Administration making progress on the budget deficit, then turning around and asking for 275 billion dollars in off-budget additional spending....what kind of idiots do they think we are?
