How surprising is this information? It certainly is different from what many Americans are being led to believe. It's like Hermann Goering said, "it works the same in every country". All the GOP has to do is tell Americans they are in danger of being attacked. And the average American swallows it hook line and sinker. what's truly unfathomable when I talk with right wing people, is that they seem to believe the rest of the world is just waiting to lay back and spread their legs for America. But people in the world are largely the same everywhere in the respect that they don't want outsiders on their territory where they've grown up in for generations, with their own culture. Look at how the US got its shorts in a knot with the Cuban missile crisis. Can't anyone understand that Israel with nuclear weapons in the Mid East looks exactly the same as what we didn't like with Cuba during the cold war ? If we got the hell out their hair, whether it's Persians or Arabs, we'd go a long way to reducing the dangers that Bush and his GOP handlers keep telling us we face. And at little real cost. But then there's what Hermann Goering said....
