Just because I said that the US/UK oil boycott against Japan was one of the factors that caused the US to enter WWII doesn't mean that there weren't other factors. Not the least of which was Japan's desire to expand its sphere of influence.

Or like neoconservatism.

Which is the same as saying that the market is not free. One of the Adam Smith requirements for a free market is that buyers and sellers are "equal".
