As for some recent disgruntled and/or non-stockholder bluster posted about business relationships or patents, etc., around the various system, it's important to remember this statement..: "..USSEC holds patent-pending technology for a new breakthrough biofuel and carbon-based fertilizer..". When you are dealing with "..process patents.." (..as opposed to a 'new mouse-trap' design..), being in the 'Patent Pending' state avoids having to expose your proprietary or trade secrets on what you have discovered. A company can even retract its patent or process patent application if it's drawing too much attention from the industry's "..thieves, wannabes & "..me-too's..". They can return to privately protected / locked-in-the-vault status if they're concerned about potential "..Duke & the Bush Baked Beans Recipe.." leaking out of the FED system, or whatever.
As for Alcar, I think they clearly 'screwed the pooch' when they started messing with being alternatively acquired - and PR'd it - while still in negotiations with USSE. Hence, there was no co-PR effort or symbol cross-over as might have been expected. I wouldn't be surprised to see Rivera and crew crap-can that previously pending relationship. There's no point to clutter up what has been a good effort and growing collection of responsible new-tech companies by having to deal with whiz-bang wheeler-dealar. USSE was still in DD mode on that potential relationship, from my POV. I seriously doubt that John Rivera has the patience for that kind of crap at this point in the game.
If one does an 'Ethanol' search on Yahoo, you get some interesting results: search.yahoo.com
From there, if you click on 'Partnerships Wanted for Ethanol Group' you get this result: unitedethanolgroup.com and from there you can click 'Partnerships' and come up with this: unitedethanolgroup.com It would appear that somebody has been doing their homework and moving right along.
Concurrently, if you did your DD on Kelmer Smith, ME, PE and you do a re-run on Luke Staengl and Pesco in VA, you find a whole lot of Process Industry Horsepower on the USSEC team. pescova.com I know of Luke Staengl from engineering work I've done for numerous clients along the East Coast from GA up through VA. The man and his company build good systems; he's a definite Pro. He was actually an owner-builder of several Ethanol plants that supplied blend to Racetrack and other gas station chains where I usually went to get the best prices on Gasahol out that way.
There's a whole lot coming together here in a reltively short period of time. And, hopefully, it will ultimately result in OPEC getting a big Made-in-USA Harley Boot jammed up their tushes in the not too distant future.
John :-)
