If anyone wants to know some of the things behind Iranian animosity to the U.S., this is a well-written summary of the 1953 CIA coup in Iran which established the Shah and gave us back control of Iranian oil until 1979. The desc. of the propaganda techniques we used was esp. interesting to me and relevant to current Iraq situation. iranchamber.com
