Hi David,

You post sparingly and it seems are not heeded as much as befits the accuracy of your judgments.

I have a few questions, if you care to respond.

1. Do you see any signs yet that the Canadian energy trusts might be given any more allowances than Flaherty/Harper is proposing to give them?

2. If Flaherty gets his way, are there ways for the energy trusts to redisign themselves so as to continue making large payouts? (COS.UN's Coutu was talking about borrowing money and in effect paying out the borrowings as distributions).

3. Are you as confident as various commentators (Matthew Simmons, Don Coxe, etc) are that we are already over the hump on peak oil?

4. Do you hold any uranium stocks? Have you studied the sector?

5. Do you own or do you follow any of the secondary tar sand stocks, such as PBG, VLL SOIGF, SYN, etc., that have attracted so much speculative interest in the last couple of years?

6. Do you have any views on the probability of a major decline in U. S. stock markets?

Just thought I would solicit the opinions of someone who cares more about figuring things out accurately than about influencing people to do what he says.
