There is nothing to smear or slander about Gore, or Kerry. But it's never stopped the dishonest rightwing from just making trash up. They will literally say or do anything to slander honest Americans and war heros. KArl Rove's whole modus operandi is that the only rule is "don't get caught". Everything else justifies the ends, no matter how dishonest. Hopefully Rove is finally going to get caught in Plamegate though. Fitzgerald seems to be aimed squarely at Rove and Cheney. And remember, Fitzgerald is a Bush appointee, so no use smearing him too. His aim is true. About time. Those two along with Delay are the biggest political crooks this country has ever seen since Boss Tweed days.
