The previous post to which this is a reply, provides the most significant sources and activity relating to effects on authorized supply. IPO issuance and Share buy back plans are Supply actions.

Read any IPO offering document as presented by its banker, and its clear that there is NO Language what so ever that Additional shares are authorized or shall otherwise be printed; accept as it relates to future offerings by the company and its underwriters at some future date.

This is what Investors buy, pieces of relative scarcity, based on thier own DD.

This is clear, it is the essence of bringing a company public. If XYZ brings 1,000,000 shares public that is its gross float; until Rule 144 insiders release additional shares or an additional offering is authored.

Yet we have a market that Supply is being created daily by the broker dealer complex without respect to the superior laws of public registration.

Apparently Overstock has filed petition against primary broker dealers for violating these above described rules.

The same Companies that are responsible for many IPO's are on the list of the named primary broker dealers.

Who should no best, what the laws are, if not those doing the underwriting?

Please.....the contradictions within the complex are so glaring as to fall to the bottom line best characterised as Disgraceful.

Every single day, broker dealers Fail to Locate the stock we buy. Broker dealer Operations have disconnected Supply and Demand from the trade, and the only solution to restoring integrity to the system is that the Trade must cease and desist from the practices now prevailing.

its probable that hundreds of billions were naked short in the 2000 takedown....... unauthorized inventory hosing everyone accept the primary players within the system.

Supply and demand; are countable, and accountable.....everything else is systemic manipulation.
