Still, I agree with Ronald Reagan on this one: "We should not let the perfect be the enemy of the good."

I believe the new bill cuts more then 90% of the funding from earmarks (measured against LAST YEAR'S PORK FEST)... so that is still 'better then a sharp stick in the eye'. :-)
