I don't believe there is any information that is known by someone.
Stock moves do not typcially happen based on special information. Its just more buyers than sellers, particularly a lack of sellers.

For example, The Heartland Value Fund owns 850,000 shares of CHERA, which it acculated with in the past 2 years. There is no way to buy this number of shares without pushing the stock up, even if you limit purchases to 10K a day. The longterm fundimentals of the company versus valuation is what makes Cherry attactive. Maybe a small cap mutual fund is buying.
