The bible is jibberish (and the koran for that matter) and god is just a convenient creation of man, used to justify killing more than anything. But at least its a decent way of keeping the population in check....can you imagine how much more over-populated the world would be without wars, genocides (and to a much lesser extend legal abortions)? Maybe the greatest thing to come along in a while is global warming? Maybe that will unite human beings to a single cause of saving the species, but I doubt it. We humans are just too limited and stupid to see how things will evolve and how we can work together to avoid calamities. And since we always take the path of least resistance, it will be easier to kill each other in the name of god. In the end, for a higher life form to continue to live and thrive on this planet, humans need to be replaced as the dominate life form. In the end it will be evolution that keeps things going on this planet, not god and his dumbshit humans. Hey, I think I have the beginnings of a steven king type novel here.
