Kerry's discharge was honorable and normal, so says the conservative anti-Kerry Washington Times after their in-depth investigation. In fact, Kerry's military record is probably the most investigated in world history and no one has ever been able to find anything wrong with it. On the contrary it confirms he was a true hero recommended for promotion. Contrast tio Bush's Guard records where 8 months of records in 1971 have totally disappeared. The exact same time he went AWOL and didn't report as was mandatory. Like tens of thousands of vets Kerry requested a new copy of his discharge record. Nothing unusual. He probably misplaced it.
