The ice is in patches from melting snow. There is a wee bit of snow still left. The creek looks white. The girl who ran over our mailbox on Monday claimed ice. It would probably have been a black ice then, but she had to be speeding to have ended up as she did. (many of the teenagers and some adults do around here) Most of the road was dry. It's just brrrr cold.
