And in China they can barely breath in some cities.

I believe China is being surprisingly proactive. I was there in September 2000. I was surprised to find Beijing and Hangzhou not nearly as bad as I expected. I didn't see any other large cities, especially manufacturing centres. I expect many are pretty bad.. like comparing a Birmingham to London in England..

I'm going back this summer and expect to see some other areas.. Wonder what has changed in 7 years..

Edit I've been in Starbucks only three times in my life.. one of those times was in Beijing :O)
