Hello Q,

thanks for posting your results,

it appears that your picks outperformed this year again.

My portfolio fared worse and my result of +0.45% is an estimate which is not significantly positive (the standard error is well ahead of 0.45%).

Best performers were nearly all biotech / pharmaceutical stocks. Unfortunately the portfolio was hit with bad news and some laggards dipped again. Sigmatel was a real annyoing example of a cash rich, beaten down stock simply to take a beating again...in January.

Stock Paid Price Feb 2 PL%

BKFG 3.4 3.25 -4.41%
CYAN 1.8 2.25 25.00%

EMBT 6.1 6.33 3.77%
GNTA 0.46 0.5 8.70%
ICGN 0.99 1.43 44.44%
INHX 1.65 1.62 -1.82%
IVOW 0.25 0.23 -8.00%
LTON 5.08 4.41 -13.19%
ONXX 10.6 11.51 8.58%
OTIV 6.5 6.15 -5.38%
RNVS 3.15 3.52 11.75%
SGTL 4.35 3.46 -20.46%
UBHI 2.25 1.49 -33.78%
VRA_U 0.22 0.17 -22.73%

Weighted Total 0.45%
(reflected underweighting of some small priced stocks).

In real life I had better results. Thanks to other posters I also purchased NTMD and FORD which provided some gains, particularly NTMD.
Then, thanks to Qs pick SYBR I discovered DIT which rose much more than any other stock in a very short timeframe.
