That's why one has various divisions, managers and employees each focused on their speciality.

The landscape is littered with the bleached bones of handset manufacturers.

It's about margins and competence.

The game Q plays is not a manufacturing game. It's an ASICs and IPR game, and a very high margin game it is. Unless you are a NOK and have acquired a huge fund of marketing and manufacturing expertise along the way, it is probably best not to engage in what could be a ruinous enterprise.

Then there is a problem of competing with your customers.
