Actually, Win's crack made me think of it. Follow downstream from here: Message 23250838

Kerry does just fine tearing himself down. He needs NO one to help him....his mouth is perfect all by itself.

But I've been surprised so many people have tried to tear down the Swift Boat Vets and POW's....As you said: and I quote:

" The reality is that none of that matters to me. The man fought, the man earned the respect of the men that fought beside him, the man risked his life for his country and his buddies and that's all there is to it. I wouldn't care if he wet himself every time the bullets flew. He was there, he did his job and he kept doing it."

These men, over 100 of them were there as well. They fought for us as Americans. They know what the saw, what they heard. There was NO reason for them to come out of retirement, and their own personal lives to say what they knew from the VN years, if they didn't feel so strongly about what happened. Some of these men were POW's and were ill treated even more because of John Kerry's and Jane Fonda's actions.
