Tom Delay's crooked foundation paid for the smearvets. If you search the records you'll find delay contracted with Perry Homes for a 26 million dollar foundation HQ (though none was needed and that is ten times the necessary price). Delay's foundation was funded by huge corporate interests and spent more on fund-raising golf trips than any charitable work.

Perry Homes was the original funder of the smearvets which are basically a far rightwing RNC Rove-Delay dirty trick and hoax. None of the so-called vets told the truth. Their biggest claims were pure fabrications based on nio evidence except their own malicious fantasies.

None of them fought with Kerry except one who has brain damage and murdered some civilians in Nam. And the rest are just total far rightwing smear jockeys being paid off to lie telling the opposite of the recorded, eye-witnessed, legal and logical truth.
