02/05 08:48 DJ Hewlett-Packard To Buy Bristol Tech >HPQ DOW JONES NEWSWIRES Hewlett-Packard Co. (HPQ) signed a definitive agreement to acquire Bristol Technology Inc., a private company that provides technology to monitor business transactions. Financial terms weren't disclosed. The Palo Alto, Calif., computer company said Monday the acquisition will complement its recent purchase of Mercury Interactive Corp. The acquisition is expected to be completed within about 30 days.
