The head of the UN called it an illegal invasion. The inspectors asked for more time but the US refused to hold off on the invasion. The Security Council refused to ratify the invasion resolution drafted by the US. The US pretended it did not need a UN resolution to cover up its failure to gain UN approval. The US invaded on its own initiative without UN support or authorization and without a lawful actionable cause under international law. That alone, combined with incompetent planning, would have been bad enough. But topping it all off is the stupidity of needlessly invading Iraq right when we actually were half way through doing something ten times more important in Afghanistan. If you had any sense of patriotism you would be outraged at the harm that Bush and his pals have done to the United States of America by putting their pet projects ahead of national security.
