John, finally removed the real estate board from my subjectmarks. No value added there.

I'll call this board my home for now.

Inflation will not bail out homeowners this time. Nor will a lowered risk-free rate.

In fact it will work against them as the Fed/Bernanke will not relax policy so long as the housing depreciation doesn't have overly negative systemic implications.

The Fed can live with 2% growth for a few years if it means keeping the inflation genie contained.
