It is ironic that his supporters think he deserves consideration, when he gave none to our soldiers in the 70's, and gives none today.

It also takes a lot of gall on their part, as well as Kerry's, to diss the people who served with him and knew him best.

I had the pleasure of meeting John O'Neill in person, and I've never met a nicer man. Salt of the earth.

I definitely came away with the impression that Kerry was more or less well liked while serving, they were even willing to tolerate the back-stabbing and puffing himself at their expense, even a little resume-padding as long as it was just talk, but when he made his Vietnam service the centerpiece of his campaign and at the same time lied about not only his service but theirs that was just too much to take from a man who was attempting to become the most powerful man in the world.

I was proud to shake the hands of the Swiftboat vets and thank them for their service.
