Russet, IMHO, it isn't really a question of what you, I, Exxon Mobil, Rush Limbaugh, a Senator from OK or anyone else believes but rather whether there is even a slight possibility that global warming is man made. The risk of making a mistake here could spell doom for the planet, so why take the risk.

The following (clumsy) equation sums it up:

Expected Outcome for Planet = Potentially little impact * Probability ( global warming is a myth) + Potentially Catastrophic ( global warming is not a myth and we take no action) + Potentially Salvageable ( global warming is not a myth and we take corrective action)

Unless anyone can say that we are 100% certain that GW is a myth, we have to take action, IMHO.........
