no, I mean that when iran invaded the US Embassy and held diplomats for ransom, they committed an act of war, and that war has never been settled. Perhaps if iran wanted to have peaceful relations with the US they should ask France or someone to start peace talks? While a state of war exists, you have to expect the US to act as if the two countries were at war.
