Simply put, institutions are not as apt to be influenced by bullshit hype from Mel Karmazin or unrealistic expecations about Howard Stern, and they're not likely to ignore such factors as massive losses (since they understand that losses, not cash burn, are a true reflection of the economic damage these companies are doing to themselves) or upcoming major capex that will have to be covered. Neophyte investors will ignore a 1.2 Billion loss. For some reason. Damned if I know why.
