As a rule of thumb, the smaller the pepper, the hotter it is... this one is not much bigger than a nickel in size, it's really tiny, and is about 400 times hotter than a jalapino... you can also use them, maybe 1/4 of one, in making a great spaghetti sauce, if you like it really hot, or chop 1/4 of it up into a pan while sauteing italian sausage with onions and green and red peppers... but you better wear gloves when you work with it, otherwise your skin will burn for two days...
