The Arabs may think they can act like a Bear, but they aren't cornered and they hold more power than they think they do. The real problem with the Arabs is they have a perpetual victim mindset. There is an old Arab saying that goes something like this: "Me against my brother. My brother and I against our neighbor. All of us Arabs against the world."
What that saying means is that Arabs are perpetually fighting amongst themselves. You see it in Palestine today and that is the main reason they don't have a state. Of course, they blame Israel, but truth is that if they could just get their act together under one government, then they could negotiate the terms of their statehood. Arafat, may his soul rest in hell, had the chance of a lifetime to get a state from the Clinton negotiations and he turned it down. That's the real story of the Arabs and Muslims.
One other thing. The Muslims always call themselves the lions of Allah, etc. Lot's of hairy chests and machismo. However, the fact is, tejek, the Muslims are not the Lions or Bears you think they are. If they attacked Israel with the intent to destroy them, they just might accomplish that goal with a nuke, but that would mark their own destruction. It would be the literal beginning of WW 3. At the end of the day, Israel and all the Middle Eastern countries are just pawns in a larger power struggle that include the US on one side, Russia on another, China on yet another, and some European countries like France on yet another side. Everyone will want a piece of a war between all the Muslims and Israel. That would be a very ugly thing. |
