It's funny to watch the fantasies get ever more extreme as the facts emerge. Now that Barcelona clockspeeds and launch dates are known to be DREADFUL, the last of the faithful invent magical IPC advantages to keep their dreams alive. That these same faithful insisted on 2.8GHz QC parts, then 2.5GHz QC parts, and are now faced with 2.3GHz QC parts... does not bother them in the least. You should know better when you read such wild, vague claims from AMD executives.
