But here are a few things I picked up: Very few technologies can take on these types of growth rates without cracking up. sonus has rode the curve better than competitors. capex spending on IP is very healthy. even if some budgets have shrunken-- all are spending more on IP. ABout 20% core trunking so far--still a lot of growth to be had, and access will increase rapidly with the deregulation that has happened. Very excited about wireless-all major companies looking to migrate to IP infra. The majority is still in front of us. Did someone catch what the 07 and 08 "phenomenon" is? It was just before a bit about wimax.i missed it. Next 5 years are "very exciting" Excited about cable. Sons is well positioned. Cable opportunity is not over. Only basic services can be done w cable as of now. they want FMC and so on. It can not be done w/o SIP and IMS. Are invloved with a number of cable co's US and Intl. (Jcom in japan recognized very early) SONUS PIONEERED IMS which is now being adopted across the industry/ First at SIP--Strong position looking for wireless growth more 08 and 09...starting in 07. Are there more teir ones to be grabbed or are they all settled? all the majors have barely adopted IP it is still in front of us. will there be one or two teir one capturesd by SONUS this year then? " We are looking forward to it" practically all the incumbents have failed. They have promised and not delivered. there WILL be a shift as these things are "dissagregated". no one could have imagined "disaggreagtion with TDM switching form lu and nt. but it happens w new technologies. dont feel they ned a lot of partners. have mot. world is a big place tho most companies have struggled --internal issues and such. scale and reliabilty were number one early on... Heavy r&D investment? yes it has gone up..Bangalore in India has grown rapidly We have not announced it yet so i am not at liberty to talk about it but we will be seeing wireless applications that nobody has today... (Sprint?)<
