It's the same as it is in all the Cities. The minority of the population is committing the majority of the crime. And if you point that out, you are a "racist" who is trying to "oppress" people "who never had a chance."

In his interview last night with Hannity, Rudy Guilanni was asked about his stance on gun control. His response, IMO, was weak. He essentially said he felt it was a local issue, but also that densely populated areas, like New York, and also high crime areas might have the need for more restrictive gun laws. That sort of attitude ensures that in high crime areas, law abiding citizens will not have guns, but the crooks, who don't pay attention to the laws anyway, will.

He is going to need to rejigger his views on this if he wants support from the NRA.
