You were an Allen, which put you near the head of the line. As an Adams, I was nearly always first. In the first grade I lived in a very small community and everyone knew everyone. I actually believed they called my name first at school because my father was a Colorado State Patrolman... a Captain at that.

Boy, was that a badly bursted bubble by second grade. ggg
