He was interviewed last night on Hannity and Colmes by Hannity. Hannity asked ALL the pertinent questions and frankly I was VERY impressed with Rudy's answers. They SEEMED honest and made a lot of sense. Here are the hot buttons, as I remember them:
1. Gun control (a personal hot one for me)--Rudy's answer, yes I supported the Brady Law cause I needed it to reduce violent crime in NYC. I employed the gun control laws and reduced criminal deaths from 2000+ to in the hundreds annually (I forget the exact numbers). However, that being said, in rural America, or cities without a high crime rate gun control may not be necessary, in any event I support the Second Amendment and peoples right to bear arms.

2. ProLife---rudy's answer--I ABHOR abortion, but I also feel it is not right to jail a woman for having the procedure. I think its a personal moral issue, the government should offer ALTERNATIVES rather then merely support abortion. Abortions DROPPED during my term of office in NYC from Blank to Blank (forget the numbers but it was a big drop).

3. Judges, I favor strict Constitutionalists who will INTERPRET the Constitution rather then act as LEGISLATORS. He supports Scalia, Roberts and Alito and would pick that type of judge.

Thats the key points that I remember and after watching this I am leaning more and more toward RUDY. jdn
