To Participants of October 1997 competition - Mr./Ms. Midas Touch of Silicon Investor
As you are aware, we have been preparing portfolios for all the participants during the past two months. Due to the current company workload on our back office and my hectic schedule, it would not be possible for us to do the same, as there is too much work involved in posting data. Therefore, I would request all participants to kindly re-create your portfolio for the October competition; you have the access code to the Yahoo site. Post entries by Friday, 3 October 1997.
You are already familiar with the rules. Please enter the correct ticker symbol of your chosen stock, and the apportionment amounts, for "short" stocks put " - " sign against the amount. Also, to keep a record, please post them on the Midas Touch thread.
If you should have any questions, you can always direct them on the thread and I, or someone else will be ready to assist you.
