Like Charlie said, about three months from wafer in to chips out. Considering the slow 65-nm Brisbane ramp after introduction on December 5th, I'm not sure AMD even cares about "salable quantity" at launch. AMD may be satisfied with a token shipment of a thousand parts for introduction with real quantities ramping up a couple months later.

If they start wafers in June that would mean meaningful sales start around Halloween.

Perhaps that is why Randy Allen of AMD said:

Q4 2007 will be when the first real impact of Barcelona comes through in AMD's financial statements.
