That was an excellent article. The fact that CEOs also have a great deal of luck is one of the best kept secrets in the world. You do not give the outgoing CEO of Exxon $400,000,000 for being lucky. <G> The extraordinary amount we pay lucky execs dwarfs the little we gain from canning unlucky ones.

We know that poker has a lot of luck and skill involved. As Phil Helmuth said, "if it weren't for luck, I'd win every time." I doubt if humility has much impact on his game. <G>
