Well, I have no doubt that I understand the mood of those who are deeply opposed to the war on terrorism, and the war in Iraq.

And I have no doubt that I understand the mood of those who support the war on terrorism, and the war in Iraq.

As for those in the middle -- I think I understand their concerns, even if I don't share them.

I suggest that you do not understand that the mood of your little enclave isn't a universal mood.

But I don't expect you to understand what you cannot understand.
