Ilaine, I asked if you were a fool or a liar, or both. I think you've answered that question.
I challenged your assertions that you hadn't impugned Kerry's war record and that I'd viciously attacked the war records of the Swift Boat Veterans.
Your defense is: I said Kerry attacked the records of his fellow servicemen, not you.
But you'd said:
I am very amused that you want to treat Kerry's war record like it was the holiest of holies but viciously attack the war records of men you never served with.

So it was me who you'd accused of "viciously attack[ing]" their war records when, in fact, I'd made absolutely no attack on their service.
And with respect to your allegation that you'd never impugned Kerry's war record, you now state that it wasn't an attack because, in your words: "I think that charge was well proved. It's not an attack, per se."
But that's not enough so you throw in, "Puffing up your own service isn't a bad thing, although it is rather pathetic."
As if that makes it ok, and true, and somehow that means you're not a person who impugned the combat record of a man who risked his life many times for his country. That's just silly and you're the one who's truly pathetic.
But then, of course, you have to make another personal attack on me, inferring that I "can't get beyond [my] service in Vietnam."
I'm beginning to feel sorry for you. You're a one-trick pony. You believe the silliest things, make conclusive statements that boost your sense of righteousness and then personally attack anyone who challenges the simplistic conclusions you've advanced.
Oh, did I mention trying to lie your way out of it when it becomes obvious, even to you, that you've made a fool of yourself?
You can get back to talking to yourself now. Ed |
