I have been waiting nearly a week to hear one of you so called Libertarians complain about the edict issued from Gov. Perry's office last week that all sixth grade girls in TX must get the new vaccine for cervical cancer. Neither the state legislature nor any PTAs nor the school board were consulted. It turns out that Merck, the maker of the vaccine, has given handsomely to Perry's campaign fund. If a parent objects, they must go to through a lengthy appeal's process.

And yet, no complaints from the Libertarians on this site. Little from Fox News. Nothing about how the gov't is interfering in the private affairs of parents. How much you want to bet had it been a Dem. governor you all would have been all over it like bees on honey?
